Fire Risk Assessment?

Hi all, im new to renting, my landlord is having an FRA done on the flar building, is this normal or should i be worried? Thanks for responses

No, it’s actually a good sign that they are keeping up with all the regs and reviewing safety. Even if no issues it’s good to do for a responsible landlord.

Yes; it's something they legally have to do. Responsible landlords get their relevant risk assessments done. Don't think anything of it.

Yeh it's a good thing and nothing to be concerned about. Fire regs got a lot tighter after Grenfell. An FRA will look at things such as signage, emergency access and exits, quality of fire doors and seals, smoke and fire detectors, automatic opening vents etc and will make recommendations on reducing risk in a fire. Your landlord will get a rating for the flats and it's communal areas and should display this in communal areas.
