Go to tribunal for rent rise. Tribunals consider the market rent, condition of the property and some other factors relating to whether the rent raise is fair.

But repairs are your landlords responsibility and the tribunal is reluctant to rise rents for properties with repair issues

Thanks. I am waiting for their reply. He's been trying to intimate me, trick me into paying.

His Section 13 in Order, he emailed saying im now 2 months in arrears. That not the case, surley? As I've applied the First Tier Tribunal in Manchester UK. It now up to them to set the rent, I hope, anyway?

I mean as long as you are keeping up rent you can only be 2 months in arrears if the total you owe is 2 months and even then that would be a s8 eviction. Has landlord confused short rent as months in arrears.

I read it as my rent remains as it was before the section 13 increase as I've applied to FTT. Can someone clarify?
