Floor plans app?

Hi all I've found different apps that you can get room plans made easily, but what do people use if you want the whole floor? Is there an easy app that doesn't cost the earth to do this? I have someone I can pay, but at £40 a pop I thought I should give it a go first!

Polycam if you have a phone with Lidar, most modern phones do, it’s free to create a layout model or £80 a year if you want one with measurements although you can do much more with the pro. I use the free one as it gives a good guide for layout and comparable room sizes

I’ve used MagicPlan before, which was pretty good. The room scanner never worked properly for me, but it was fine if you entered measurements manually. Best used on an iPad or other tablet. It is (was?) free, and you could make 2 free plans before having to pay to make more.

Yes it can join rooms. I used to use it and thought the room scanning was its best feature, especially in a cluttered room when you could use the ceiling perimeter instead of the floor! Unfortunately the free version became pretty restrictive so I dropped it.

I now use Visio and a laser measure, and occasionally draw.io (free incl. mobile)

Microsoft Visio drawing package. Spendy though, depending where you get your license.
