Looking to change property management

Hello everyone,

I own (well the bank mostly) a flat I rent in Greenwich and I would ask for your honest opinion on which is the best property management agency there.

I won’t name my current one, but I pay a premium for what is supposed to be excellent service and I’m really not that impressed.

Thank you

I’ve been with Foxtons on a property but just ditched them. Actually ended up dealing direct with the tenant myself as she was getting so annoyed with them. Gone with a newish firm that has a tenant app and landlord app. Not had big issues so far but they’ve handled small things without my involvement but I can see it’s dealt with which I like as I work. Also allocated a property manager rather than a faceless email that no one replies to! Liked that approach too. In terms of the bigger agencies Dexters are the best I’ve dealt with but even that is different branch to branch.

Thanks for your reply. I dealt with Foxton in the past as a tenant and also prospective buyer and was not happy so would avoid them like the plague.

Which agent has a tenant and landlord app? I don’t live near my property so anything to keep an eye remotely is welcome.

We've typically used independents over the years pre-setting up ourselves. When they became linked with a property franchise group, the tenant started to be treated appallingly. Not all independents are fantastic, but they do tend to trade on their name rather than that of a franchise.

What are you looking for in terms of management? From that it'll be far easier to advise. Looking at your comment below, we may or may not be suitable for example and I'd be open to discuss.
