I have a property in the UK insured with Endsleigh for many years. They just told me 7 hours before renewal (after taking my money) that they will no longer cover me since I live in the EU. What kind of joke is this ?
Can somebody recommend building/contents insurance for a UK flat for a landlord that lives in the EU. The property is managed by a UK letting agent.
Thanks!

I live in Australia (appreciate not the EU) and used Direct Line landlord insurance
Just tried directline, they want over £500 a year compared to my current policy which is £210
You don't have a policy.
Given the amount of time available to you this may still be worth taking.
Getting a similar quote from abother company so you might be right.
Brightside are quite good for unusual requirements generally, not sure how unusual your case is tho.
Luxembourg here. I have a small flat on the UK south coast and pay £125 contents insurance with Total Landlord Insurance.

(Above details copied from email. I have no affiliation with them, other than being a customer)
I have not gone through the claims process with them, so can't comment on that part
Also based in the EU, I believe we're with Simply Business
When I apply for a quote online it wants a UK mobile number :-(
