Updating post from Reddit.
I have listed my flat for sale, and notified the landlord of my intention to sell. I shared the leasehold deed of certificate on 9th April.
They shared the Landlord's Certificate on 28th April (4 week deadline: 7th May), but it contained a typo (postcode had one wrong letter) and so I asked them to resend with the correct postcode. The (incorrect) Landlord Certificate confirmed that I am a qualifying leaseholder.
It's now the 9th May (so they've missed the 4 week deadline to send me a corrected Landlord Certificate). For my own (and future owner's) peace of mind, I still want and am pursuing a correct Landlord Certificate. However, does it matter?
I am both a qualifying leaseholder and they have missed the 4 week deadline. Doesn't this doubly confirm that I/the future owner does not have to pay for any fire safety remedial work(?). Probably a silly question but we can get stung in so many ways that I want to avoid any issues down the line.
Note - the landlord is Peabody and they are totally useless. All correspondence is incorrect and needs to be chased for 6 months before I get anything.
