Yourmove are utter shite, in my experience. Getting rid would probably serve you better in the long run.
I just had a quick read online as I assume you are thinking it works with broadband I wonder if the same goes for lettings. It appears you might still be liable for exit fees unfortunately as they don't work the same. Although your contract will state what your exit terms are.
Yes, I added the second screenshot can you see it? I think we can keep them without fee...
Love how they’re saying you can offset it by charging the tenant more. If you’ve a management firm dealing with the property for you, you likely have multiple properties. Are your yields really that tight that you can’t absorb an at max average of £24/pcm?
And if they are, shouldn’t you be questioning instead whether the agent’s services are worth that increase?
Yes we can absorb it. But I feel we would be better off moving over to Open Rent for better value...
We currently pay 7% rent collection but also approx £25 per month for rent protection on a property let for £1200.
According to the second screenshot - Yes, that seems to be the case.
Can anyone give me some advice about having a tenant in situ and actually moving over to Rent Now? Is this possible or do I need to end the tenancy and get new tenants?
Yourmove are the absolute arsehole of arseholes. Use anyone but them.
They screwed me over several times as a tenant many years ago and tried again when I looked at listing a rental as one of only 3 local options as a landlord.
