Hey, if we are currently going through referencing and the guarantor we were using has failed the checks, can we ask to use a different guarantor and remove the other one to ensure it is accepted?
No tenancy agreement has been sent or signed yet but we are eager to get this flat.
Of course, there’s no legal impediment to this, but you’d have to ask the landlord or agent: there’s also no legal impediment to them refusing.
