Serviced accommodation

Hi everyone,

What are everyone's thoughts on Serviced accommodation / airbnb as opposed to normal ast tenant's?

I run a Serviced accommodation property management business and I am looking for a general opinion on what landlords think and how we can mitigate those objections if there are any.

Thanks,

The unstable income, coupled with the new tax regime and ever-increasing regulatory burdens, heightened risks from temporary occupant damage, and now expensive mortgages.

I'd rather stick to standard rentals.

Mortgage restrictions are a big reason why many don’t. The need to switch products.

Too much regulation and too much uncertainty

I've been doing SA for about five years now. It's worn me down in a way my rentals never have. Too much to do, not worth the extra returns.

Short term rents are higher yields. Everyone knows that though. The negative is less security though.
