Updating post from Reddit.
Hi everyone,
We’re a London-based company specializing in end-of-tenancy cleaning, and we’re currently preparing to offer our services to estate agents. I’d like to ask for some insights from landlords and agents in this group please. 1. When it comes to cleaning services, do you typically book cleaners yourself, or do you rely on your estate agent to handle it? 2. If you’re an estate agent, what makes a cleaning company stand out to you? Is it their pricing, flexibility, add-on services, or something else? Based on some posts I’ve read, I’ve noticed that agents sometimes add a mark-up to contractor fees. If that’s the case, is pricing your top priority when choosing a company? 3. If you already have a cleaning company, what would make you switch to a new one?
To give you an idea of what we offer: • Our prices are in line with the market. • We provide free sink and shower unblocking as part of our service—ideal for handling common issues at the end of a tenancy.
Any advice, feedback, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. We’re keen to learn how to be the perfect cleaning partner for landlords and agents!
Thanks in advance!
Cleaning costs should not be more than £25/hr.
Get rid of marketting bullshit like end of tenancy cleaning or deep cleaning or BS like that that just boosts your profits without any value added.
Clean as requried based on a reasonable hourly charge like £25 and thats it.
