Recommendation of where to purchase furniture

Hi,

I'm a first time landlord and have just agreed through a property management agency to rent my flat in London whilst I'm abroad, the flat is mostly furnished but the tenants requested a bed and wardrobe.

Since I'm abroad I have said I can purchase but will need their help in assembling.

Can anyone give recommendations of where to purchase a good quality bed, wardrobe, and mattress?

Looking for durable, good quality, that will last and easy to assemble.

Thanks

Not sure but if you aren't aware i think the tax is changing on furnished properties which will make it less favorable. Ikea is decent for a cheap comfy mattress but not sure how this will work with setting it up in the property does your agent do this part if not you might need to find a company that specialises in kitting out furnished lets but i bet they won't be cheap.

Ummm, while I understand that it is furnished, you set the terms of what furnished actually means. If you didn't agree that a bed and wardrobe were part of the furnishings, then those items are for the tenant to source.

Divan bed and mattress with headboard and a ready made wardrobe. Try to find a local landlord supplier, they usually have a range of quality. Try to get something middle or high.

Dont buy a cheap mattress, you dont want to replace it after a couple of years.

Also buy a bed protector ~ £20
